Wizards' Markieff Morris (ankle) says he’ll play in Game 2
Washington Wizards forward Markieff Morris (ankle) said he will "definitely" play in Game 2 against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.
Morris was forced from the game after landing on Al Horford's foot and did not return, playing just 11 minutes. While the forward is optimistic, the Wizards will wait to see how this ankle holds up overnight before declaring Morris good to go on Tuesday. Consider him questionable for Game 2 with Kelly Oubre likely starting if Morris is unable to play.
Oubre scored 12 points with one rebound and two blocks in 26 minutes while filling in for Morris.
