Dwyane Wade felt better playing point for Bulls on Wednesday

Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade said he felt better as a point guard in Game 5 against the Boston Celtics.

What It Means:

Point guard Isaiah Canaan started and played off the ball to allow the extra touches for Wade. "Now that I'm the point guard, it has to be led by me," Wade said. In Game 5, Wade had a time of possession with the ball of 6.4 minutes. In the first four games, it was just 3.1 minutes. His defense wasn't really there, but the veteran should have plenty of opportunities to post another strong offensive game on Friday.

Wade went off in Game 5 with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists during his 35 minutes on the floor. His 9.03 nERD was second-most in the Bulls' losing effort, per numberFire Live.
