James Harden's big game helps Houston eliminate the Thunder
Houston Rockets guard James Harden went only 8-of-23 from the field on Tuesday, but he racked up 32 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks as the Rockets took Game 5 105-99, eliminating the Oklahoma City Thunder 4-1 and advancing to the second round of the playoffs.
Harden produced really well in Round 1, averaging 33.2 points, 7.0 assists, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 37.4 minutes per game while shooting .411 from the field, .240 from 3-point range and .904 from the free-throw line.
Harden finished Tuesday's Game 5 win with an 11.0 nERD, per numberFire Live. He led Rockets players and was tied for second in the NBA with a 17.8 nERD in the regular season.
