Wizards' Jason Smith (knee) heads to the locker room

Washington Wizards forward/center Jason Smith (knee) headed to the locker room in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

What It Means:

Smith stayed down for a couple of minutes after Hawks' forward Kent Bazemore crashed into his leg, but he did walk to the locker room under his own power. We should have a better idea on the severity of the injury after the game.

Smith averaged 5.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 14.4 minutes per game in the regular season. His 0.2 nERD ranked 139th in the NBA and sixth among Wizards players.
