Spurs blowout Grizzlies behind 32 points from Kawhi Leonard
San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard set a new playoff career-high with five assists and matched his career-best with 32 points during an easy 111-82 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday in Game 1.
Leonard only had to play 32 minutes as the Spurs dominated the game after the first quarter. He scored nearly half of his points in the third quarter alone to seal the deal and he was ultra efficient. At 11-for-14 from the floor and 9-for-9 from the line, Leonard currently has a 89.1% true shooting percentage through one playoff game.
Our models project Leonard for 24.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists over 33.5 minutes on Monday in Game 2.
