Jamal Murray scores well in Nuggets' season finale
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray went 10-of-17 from the field on Wednesday, finishing with 27 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds and 4 3-pointers as the Nuggets closed out their season against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Murray played 41 minutes in what was ultimately a meaningless game for both teams -- but it was still encouraging to see the rookie produce well with those big minutes. Murray finishes the season averaging 9.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 3-pointers in 21.5 minutes per game, having played in all 82 games for the Nuggets.
It was a pretty inefficient rookie year for Murray, and his -4.9 nERD ranks bottom-25 in the NBA.
