Boban Marjanovic erupts as Pistons topple Rockets
Detroit Pistons center Boban Marjanovic decimated the Houston Rockets on Friday, scoring a career-high 27 points with 12 rebounds, two assists and no turnovers in 28 minutes in a 114-109 win.
Coach Stan Van Gundy had said he wanted to keep Marjanovic between 20-24 minutes, but the Rockets were triple-teaming Boban at times in this game and they couldn't stop him; Marjanovic made 12-of-18 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line. Now that SVG knows how good Boban could be, the days of him having a limit are probably over. Unlimited Boban would be worth owning in all leagues.
Marjanovic outperformed even MVP candidate James Harden on the other side tonight, earning 33.02 nERD per numberFire Live.
