DeMarcus Cousins will not play Friday as the Pels face the Nuggets
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) will not play on Friday versus the Denver Nuggets.
With the Pelicans eliminated from the playoffs, New Orleans as no reason to push an injury from one of their star players. Expect Cousins to be listed as questionable but likely not playing on Saturday as well. Dante Cunningham gets the start in Cousins' place.
Cunnigham has averaged 6.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 28.7 minutes per game in his 31 games started this season.
