Knicks may shut down Kristaps Porzingis (back) for the remainder of the season
The New York Knicks may shut down forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (back spasms) for the remainder of the season, per head coach Jeff Hornacek.
The Knicks only have three games remaining, and with nothing left to play for, there's really no incentive for them to take any risks with the health of their budding superstar.
Porzingis has averaged 18.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.0 blocks, 0.7 steals and 1.7 3-pointers in 32.8 minutes per game in his sophomore season. His 0.4 nERD ranks 128th in the NBA and fourth among Knicks players.
