Lakers' Tyler Ennis scores a career-high in win over the Spurs

Los Angeles Lakers guard Tyler Ennis started and played 39 minutes on Wednesday, posting a career-high 19 points to go with 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 3-pointers as the Lakers beat the San Antonio Spurs 102-95.

What It Means:

Ennis drew the start with D'Angelo Russell (knee) sidelined, and saw his role increase even more when Jordan Clarkson left the game with a knee injury. There's still no word on Russell or Clarkson's statuses for Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings, but if either of them sit then Ennis should be in for another big workload.

Ennis has played 15.5 minutes per game through 18 contests since joining the Lakers mid-way through the season, averaging 7.1 points, 2.1 assists and 1.3 rebounds per game. He ranks 343rd in the NBA with a -1.5 nERD on the year.
