Troy Williams

Troy Williams earning another start Wednesday for Rockets

Houston Rockets small forward Troy Williams will remain in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Denver Nuggets.

What It Means:

With James Harden (illness) and Trevor Ariza (personal) both sidelined Sunday, Williams entered the first unit and went on to score 21 points with six triples over 39 minutes in his Rockets debut. However, Harden and Ariza are expected back tonight, so even with another starting nod, it will be hard for Williams to replicate that performance on what will likely be a 20-minute workload. Eric Gordon will move back to a sixth man role off the bench, but his numbers are consistent regardless of how he enters the game.

numberFire's models project Williams to play 20.1 minutes on Wednesday night while turning in 6.4 points and 1.2 3-pointers with 2.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.9 steals.
