Magic's Aaron Gordon erupts for 32 points, 16 boards
Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon (shoulder) matched his career-high 16 rebounds against the Boston Celtics on Friday, adding 32 points with one assist, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
His 32 points are just one off his career high, as well. Obviously Gordon's sore shoulder was not a problem despite being called a game-time decision. As has been the case for the past month, the move to power forward has been huge for Gordon, making 49.5 percent from the field since the break compared to just 42.8 percent before that.
Gordon racked up a team-leading 24.17 nERD last night for the Magic, per numberFire Live. His -2.6 nERD for the year is 36th-lowest among 272 forwards in the NBA.
