James Harden suffers a wrist injury as Rockets beat Thunder

Houston Rockets guard James Harden racked up 22 points and 12 assists on Sunday before a wrist injury forced him to leave the game with 30 seconds remaining as the Rockets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 137-125.

What It Means:

Harden had his shooting wrist wrapped up as he headed back to the locker room. This is the same wrist that he hurt on Monday, and Rockets' head coach Mike D'Antoni expects Harden to be battling the injury for the remainder of the season. His status is still up in the air for Houston's next game on Tuesday, and he may be rested a little bit more than usual through the remainder of the regular season.

Harden has averaged 29.5 points, a league-high 11.3 assists and 8.0 rebounds in 36.5 minutes per game this season. He ranks 2nd in the league with a 17.5 nERD on the year.
