Nets hope to have Jeremy Lin (ankle) back against Phoenix
The Brooklyn Nets are hopeful that point guard Jeremy Lin (ankle) will suit up Thursday against the Phoenix Suns, per head coach Kenny Atkinson.
Lin sat out Tuesday with ankle soreness, and with the Nets having nothing to play for down the stretch this season, look for them to possibly limit his minutes even if he does return to the lineup on Thursday. Either way, his return will be a serious blow to Spencer Dinwiddie and Archie Goodwin's playing time and usage.
Lin has played in only 25 games this season, averaging 13.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.0 steals in 23.0 minutes per game. He ranks 142nd in the NBA with a 0.2 nERD.
