Trail Blazers expect Evan Turner (hand) to return Saturday night
Portland Trail Blazers guard/forward Evan Turner (hand) is likely to play against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
Turner has been handling the ball and taking on contact in practice, but his right hand was seen wrapped up while walking around in Atlanta on Friday. He's been on the sidelines since February 7 and will likely cut into the minutes of Moe Harkless, Al-Farouq Aminu and Shabazz Napier upon return. He's still not someone to rush out and grab just yet, but with a five-game week coming up, Turner is worth monitoring.
Turner is currently tied for 445th out of 474 NBA players this season with a -3.7 nERD. He's averaging 9.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
