Dallas won't have Nerlens Noel (knee) for third straight game
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Nerlens Noel (left knee soreness) will not play on Monday versus the Toronto Raptors.
Noel said he was making progress over the weekend, so hopefully the Mavericks are just playing it safe. Either way, his third consecutive absence means Dirk Nowitzki will start at the five and Salah Mejri should see a boost off the bench. Consider Noel questionable for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards.
Mejri is averaging 2.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 15.0 minutes per contest over the past two games. His 1.9 nERD ranks third on the Mavericks this season.
