Oklahoma City's Victor Oladipo says wrist is 'a lot better'

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Victor Oladipo said that the six games he took off for his back issue also helped him recover from his wrist injury.

What It Means:

"[The rest] was amazing for my wrist, actually," Oladipo said. "I'm not one to complain. It wasn't 100 percent, but that rest kind of helped it out a little bit. It's a lot better now." Oladipo's right wrist cost him nine games in December, but he's been on fire in March, recording a .706 true shooting percentage in three contests.

For the season, Oladipo is averaging 16.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.0 3-pointers in 33.5 minutes per game while shooting a career-high 45.2 percent from the field. His 0.3 nERD ranks is tied for 134th in the NBA and is fourth on the Thunder.
