Thunder move Taj Gibson into starting lineup versus the Spurs
Oklahoma City Thunder power forward Taj Gibson is starting over Domantas Sabonis against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.
The move is a long time coming for the Thunder as the rookie Sabonis has struggled as of late. The veteran Gibson was brought over from the Chicago Bulls to provide some toughness down low. He should be able to play close to his year-long average of 27.3 minutes. Keep an eye on his performance to see if he is worthy of a waiver wire move.
Our models projected Gibson for 9.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in 24.4 minutes before word of the lineup change was announced.
