Dwyane Wade

Bulls' Dwyane Wade will not play Monday

Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade (thigh) will not play on Monday against the Detroit Pistons.

What It Means:

Wade missed shootaround and will have to sit out Monday, but he was originally listed as a game-time decision, so it seems like he is day to day for now. Jimmy Butler will be extremely busy on Monday and the Bulls could go a number of different ways in their rotation. Butler might slide over to shooting guard, giving Denzel Valentine and Paul Zipser more minutes. Michael Carter-Williams is also a candidate to get back into the rotation, especially if Rajon Rondo (ankle) is out too.

Right now our models project Butler to be the best play in the Bulls' backcourt on Monday with 23.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.9 steals over 37.1 minutes against the Pistons.
