Kings say Skal Labissiere 'closer' to more playing time
Sacramento Kings forward/center Skal Labissiere is closer to getting some consistent minutes, said head coach Dave Joerger.
Labissiere has been averaging 16.9 minutes over the past three games, and that number will likely go up once the Kings have officially been eliminated from the playoff race. He's only a deep league add for now, producing in points and rebounds but little else. More playing time for the rookie is going to mean less for Kosta Koufos and Anthony Tolliver.
Labissiere is averaging 8.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists on 52.4 percent shooting from the field since the All-Star break. His 0.2 nERD is first on the Kings, which says more about the team than the player.
