Hawks' Dwight Howard gets ejected in Monday's win

Atlanta Haws center Dwight Howard was ejected on Monday as the Hawks beat the Boston Celtics 114-98.

What It Means:

Howard picked up two technicals, getting himself tossed with under five minutes to go in the third quarter, though the league later issued a statement that the second technical was "non-unsportsmanlike", and thus shouldn't have led to the suspension. In the 28 minutes he managed to play, Howard racked up 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Despite the early exit, Howard finished third among Hawks players with a 16.1 nERD in the win, per numberFire Live. He also leads the team and ranks 19th in the NBA with a 6.7 nERD on the season.
