Chris Paul flirts with a triple-double in Clippers' overtime win on Sunday

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul racked up 15 points, 17 assists and 9 rebounds in 41 minutes of action as the Clippers needed overtime to score a 124-121 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

What It Means:

It doesn't look like there will be any lingering effects from the thumb injury that sidelined Paul for 14 games, and he has played at least 32 minutes in both of his games since returning. He's averaging 17.4 points, 9.8 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 2.2 steals in a career-low 31.2 minutes per game on the year.

Paul only managed a -2.7 nERD in Sunday's win, per numberFire Live. He still ranks second among Clippers players and 16th in the NBA on the season though, sporting an 8.0 nERD.
