76ers' Jahlil Okafor has bounceback night with 28 points and 10 rebounds
Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor scored a season-high 28 points against the New York Knicks on Saturday with 10 rebounds, one assist and no turnovers in 29 minutes.
He made 11-of-19 from the field and all six from the line for a terrific scoring line. Okafor was coming off a rough game on Friday against the Wizards, but he's struggled against Marcin Gortat for basically his whole career. With Joel Embiid (knee) possibly missing more than two games, Okafor may start to get it going.
Among the 42 centers averaging 20 minutes per game or more, Okafor's 4.9 rebounds per game are sixth-least and his 11.8 points per game are 18th-fewest. Despite a -1.2 nERD (324th in the league), Okafor's Usage Rate is still reasonable for a center at 23.2 percent.
