Dario Saric drops double-double despite Sixers' loss
Philadelphia 76ers power forward Dario Saric grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds on Saturday, adding 19 points, five assists and one 3-pointer in a career-high 40 minutes during a 110-109 loss to the New York Knicks.
That's four consecutive double-doubles and the seventh straight game with at least 18 points. Saric doesn't have a backup and the 76ers continue to run offense through him. Amazingly, he's still been efficient lately despite making just 5-of-29 (17.2 percent) from deep in his last five games to get him to 47.7 percent from the field overall.
Saric still holds a -5.3 nERD, the seventh-lowest mark in the league this season (out of 465 players). He's been an offensive machine, but his 108 Defensive Rating ranks a middling 32nd among the 65 forwards to average 24 minutes or more per game this year.
