Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) wearing a walking boot after Thursday's game
New York Knicks power forward Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) was wearing a walking boot after Thursday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Porzingis suffered a mild ankle sprain after racking up 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in the first half. The Knicks are out of playoff contention, so don't expect them to rush him back if this turns out to be be at all serious. Look for Lance Thomas, Willy Hernangomez and Mindaugas Kuzminskas to all see some increased run if Porzingis misses any time.
Porzingis is averaging 18.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.9 three-pointers per game with a 0.3 nERD rating, ranking him 123rd out of 463 NBA players.
