Lou Williams will be the Rockets' 7th man

Houston Rockets shooting guard Lou Williams is the seventh man in the rotation, said head coach Mike D'Antoni.

What It Means:

D'Antoni added that Williams would be helping Eric Gordon, suggesting that he'll be a more active passer than he was in Los Angeles with the Lakers. It sounds like Williams' 30.0 percent usage rate -- and subsequent fantasy output -- will take a hit in Houston, but he could still produce some late-round value as the second man off the bench.

Williams was averaging a career-high 18.6 points to go with 2.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.1 3-pointers in 24.2 minutes per game this season for the Lakers. His 5.0 nERD for the year currently ranks 25th in the NBA.
