Bucks will start Thon Maker at power forward versus Lakers
Milwaukee Bucks forward Thon Maker will get the start at power forward against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
It looks like Maker will get the first crack at replacing Jabari Parker, who is out for the year with an ACL injury. The rookie started three games in the last three weeks, playing 17.5 minutes with 7.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. If he can make some noise in a favorable matchup with the Lakers, there is a chance Maker earns a regular spot in the Bucks' rotation.
Our models currently expect Maker to record 9.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 14.3 minutes on Friday night, so expect that projection to bump up a bit with the promotion to the first unit. He makes for an intriguing DFS play with a minimum $3,500 price tag on FanDuel. (14.28) (9.1) (3.5-6.1) (0.0-0.0) (1.5-2.5) (4.7) (0.3) (0.2) (1.4)
