Suns' Dragan Bender (ankle) will miss remainder of 2016-17 season
Phoenix Suns forward Dragan Bender will reportedly require ankle surgery and he's expected to miss the remainder of the 2016-17 season.
The report has not been verified by the Suns, but Bender was spotted in a walking boot on Monday and he has now missed seven of the Suns' last eight games. The Croatian rookie will need a reported three months to recover from the surgery, so look for Marquese Chriss to continue to see an expanded role in the Suns' frontcourt.
Our models project Chriss to post 8.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals over 19.6 minutes against the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
