Blake Griffin's triple-double not enough on Monday for Clippers

Los Angeles Clippers forward/center Blake Griffin hit 11-of-19 shots and two 3-pointers on Monday for 26 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and a steal for his first triple-double since 2014, and the fifth of his career in a 118-109 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

What It Means:

Griffin should continue to stuff the stat sheet for owners while Chris Paul remains on the shelf with a thumb injury. Over the last five games, he's averaging 25.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest.

Griffin finished with a 20.21 nERD on Monday night, and he's currently tied for 50th in the NBA this season with a 3.1 nERD.
