Celtics insert Jonas Jerebko into the starting linup for Monday
Boston Celtics forward Jonas Jerebko will start at power forward for Monday's game against the Detroit Pistons, sending Amir Johnson to the bench.
Jerebko hasn't been mind-blowing in his four previous starts, averaging 5.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 22.4 minutes per game. However, head coach Brad Stevens is likely just playing the matchups with the Pistons owning multiple power forwards who can stretch the floor and Jerebko showing more range than Johnson. Expect the duo to flip-flop starting spots the rest of the season. Neither are worth rostering in year-long leagues.
Our model project Jerebko for 6.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 three-pointers in 22.0 minutes versus the Pistons on Monday.
