76ers' showing interest in Pelicans' Jrue Holiday

The Philadelphia 76ers will consider trying to acquire New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday, per ESPN's Zach Lowe.

What It Means:

Lowe said the 76ers will take a "hard look" at Holiday, who they traded away in the summer of 2013. He's scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but it's unclear whether Philadelphia will pursue him ahead of the trade deadline, or wait until free agency.

Holiday has been fairly productive this season, averaging 13.9 points, 7.0 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game, though he hasn't been especially efficient, with his -1.1 nERD ranking only 336th in the NBA.
