Ivica Zubac has a career day as Lakers fall to Nuggets
Los Angeles Lakers center Ivica Zubac set career-highs in all of points (11), rebounds (13) and blocks (3) in 26 minutes of action on Tuesday as the Lakers fell to the Denver Nuggets 127-121.
Zubac had only appeared in 10 games before this one, spending much of his rookie season in the D-League, but with the Lakers' playoff hopes already gone, more impressive performances like this may earn the 19-year-old some additional run at the NBA level.
Zubac ranked fifth among Lakers players with a -2.8 nERD in Tuesday's loss, per numberFire Live. He has a .460 true shooting percentage and solid 15.9 percent total rebound rate in his 106 minutes of action this season.
