Lakers' Larry Nance isn't likely to return this week
Los Angeles Lakers power forward Larry Nance (knee) is unlikely to return to the court this week.
Nance has been sidelined for almost a month with this injury, having last played on December 20. He has started doing some 1-on-1 work in practice, but it looks like his return will be at least another week away.
Nance has averaged 7.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in 22.4 minutes per game this season. His .591 effective field goal percentage and 15.9 player efficiency rating are both improvements over his rookie numbers from last season. His 0.8 nERD ranks 99th in the NBA and third on the Lakers on the year.
