Anthony Davis' big second half is not enough for New Orleans on Saturday
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis scored 36 points in his return from a one-game absence during a 107-99 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.
Davis dropped 23 points and 9 rebounds in 21 second-half minutes against the Bulls, so despite wearing some protective padding on his hip, Davis seems to be just fine after missing a game. He gets another juicy matchup on Monday afternoon against the Indiana Pacers.
Davis is averaging 29.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 steals and a league-leading 2.6 blocks per game. He owns a .511 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 6.9 ranks him 11th among all players.
