Miami's Hassan Whiteside might play Sunday
Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside (eye) has rejoined the team and is hopeful to return to the lineup for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Whiteside said he is feeling a lot better and he is no longer seeing double. Assuming he gets the all clear, he should return to the starting lineup against DeAndre Jordan and the Clippers. Check back before Sunday's game for confirmation.
Whiteside is off to another great season, averaging 17.3 points, 2.2 blocks and a league-leading 14.3 rebounds per game. As his shot attempts have increased this year, his effective field goal percentage has taken a dip from .606 last year to .546 this season. He has a 2.6 nERD, which ranks 38th among all players.
