Miami's Hassan Whiteside will not play Friday
Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside (eye) is listed as out for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Whiteside has yet to rejoin his teammates on the west coast, so Willie Reed should serve as the Miami's starting center. Reed impressed in one of those games, but James Johnson has been the stronger value play when Whiteside has missed time.
Our models expect Johnson to post 12.9 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.3 blocks over 30.2 minutes against the Lakers on Friday.
