Nets will give Brook Lopez night off Tuesday
Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez (rest) will not play on Tuesday versus the Toronto Raptors.
What It Means:
The Nets want to have Lopez available for both games of Brooklyn's back-to-back set later this week, against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, and Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. Expect Luis Scola and Anthony Bennett to see some extra run Tuesday against Toronto.
Lopez is averaging 20.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers in 24 games this season. His 1.1 nERD is tied for 67th in the NBA.
