Hornets rule out Kemba Walker (personal) for Friday night

Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker (personal) won't play against the Boston Celtics on Friday night, but he's expected to rejoin the team for Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks.

What It Means:

Walker is dealing with a personal matter away from the team. Ramon Sessions will draw the start with Brian Roberts behind him. Nicolas Batum should see an uptick in usage sans Walker.

Walker is averaging a career-high 22.6 points (16th in the NBA), 5.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 2.6 three-pointers per game on a .579 true shooting percentage this season, the latter two of which are also career-bests. His 2.8 nERD currently ranks 25th among players.
