Harrison Barnes gets hot from the field as Dallas falls to Charlotte
Dallas Mavericks forward Harrison Barnes was 10-of-21 from the field on Monday, dropping 29 points as the Mavs fell 109-101 to the Charlotte Hornets.
Barnes had been going through something of a scoring slump recently, and those 29 points are his best mark in almost a full month. He is averaging 20.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game on the season.
Barnes has seen his efficiency from the field fall with his increased volume this year, posting a .486 effective field goal percentage that is below his .499 career-average, though he is sporting a career-high 17.0 player efficiency rating.
