Atlanta Hawks are starting Thabo Sefolosha versus the Thunder
Thabo Sefolosha will start for the Atlanta Hawks against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, moving Kyle Korver to the bench.
The Hawks have lost six-straight games, including their last two by an average of 40.0 points, so the team expectedly decided to switch things up. Sefolosha has been a reliable jack-of-all-trades off the bench this year and could stick in the starting lineup, making this more than a one-off move.
Our models projected 6.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals from Sefolosha in 24.1 minutes before news of him starting came down. He should easily see closer to 30 minutes in a starting role versus the Thunder.
