Grizzlies add Toney Douglas to backcourt
The Memphis Grizzlies signed veteran guard Toney Douglas by utilizing the NBA's hardship rule.
Mike Conley (back) is expected to miss multiple weeks, so Douglas will likely see an immediate role. It's unclear how significant of a role that will be, but he's on the radar in deep leagues for owners in need. Douglas' arrival doesn't help Andrew Harrison's value. The Grizzlies play the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, but it's unknown whether or not Douglas will be active.
The Grizzlies currently rank 18th in numberFire's NBA Team Power Rankings.
