Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki to miss at least two more games
Dallas Mavericks' power forward Dirk Nowitzki has already been ruled out of Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls and is likely to miss at least one additional game with soreness in his Achilles.
In year 19 of his NBA career, Nowitzki is struggling to stay healthy as he will have now missed 15 of Dallas' 20 games so far. Consider him questionable for Wednesday's contest versus the Charlotte Hornets. With the Mavericks sitting at 3-15 and staring at a top pick in the 2017 draft, there is no reason to rush their franchise superstar back.
In the five games he has played, Nowitzki averaged only 12.1 points while posting a dismal .435 true shooting percentage and a -0.7 nERD rating.
