Grizzlies' Marc Gasol scores 25 points, blocks five shots on Thursday
Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol scored 25 points in 32 minutes during a 95-94 comeback win over the Orlando Magic on Thursday, adding two rebounds, three assists, five blocks, one steal and two 3-pointers.
The Nasty Nine strikes again. Despite being banged up and short-handed the Grizzlies won again on Thursday behind Gasol's 25 points. They are now 8-0 in games decided by one basket and for Gasol, he played 32 minutes on a back to back, signaling he might be ready to play on most back to backs from here on out.
Gasol is having a great start to the season, averaging a career-high 18.4 points per game with 5.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists. He has a 1.0 nERD, which ranks him 52nd among all players.
