Troy Daniels scores 19 points as Grizzlies edge Magic
Memphis Grizzlies guard Troy Daniels matched a season-high 19 points in 29 minutes against the Orlando Magic on Thursday, adding two rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers.
What It Means:
With all of Memphis' injuries, Daniels has stepped up nicely on both ends of the court. He now has back-to-back 19-point efforts and he should continue to see big minutes while James Ennis and Vince Carter are on the shelf.
Daniels is averaging 5.7 points and 1.2 rebounds over a career-high 15.3 minutes per game. However, overall he has struggled with his shot this season with a .429 effective field goal percentage.
