Miami's Dion Waiters out at least two weeks
MRI results revealed the Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters (groin) has a Pectineus tear and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
What It Means:
This is a big blow to Miami and Waiters who had been playing well before going down with injury. Tyler Johnson and Josh Richardson will be asked to do more while Waiters is on the shelf and Rodney McGruder should also see a big bump in minutes.
Waiters is averaging 14.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists over 31.8 minutes per game. He has a .430 effective field goal percentage and a -2.0 nERD on the year.
