Dallas Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles) will miss at least three more games.
What It Means:
Nowitzki has only played five games so far this season, and it makes sense for the 3-13 Mavericks to rest him as much as he needs to get back to full health. Harrison Barnes will continue to see plenty of run at power forward with Dirk out, and Dwight Powell will also continue to see increased minutes.
Our models project Barnes to play a huge 38 minutes in Nowitzki's absence tonight, though we only have him recording 15 points and 5 rebounds in a tough matchup with the San Antonio Spurs.
