Clippers' Blake Griffin (knee) has some minor swelling

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin said after Sunday's loss to the Indiana Pacers that he some swelling in his right knee.

What It Means:

Griffin did not play well on Sunday and he was wearing a protective sleeve on his leg after being kicked in the calf on Friday. It sounds like the injury is minor, but the Clippers play the Nets on Tuesday, so there is a chance Griffin could sit out if he is still experiencing some soreness by then.

Griffin is averaging 21.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists over 33.1 minutes per game this season. His .495 effective field goal percentage is currently a career-low, but he is making 77.4% of his free throws, a career-high, to make up for it. He has a 3.7 nERD, which ranks 8th right now.
