Maurice Harkless double-doubles for Portland on Friday
Portland Trail Blazers forward Maurice Harkless scored 19 points with 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one three-pointer in 28 minutes against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.
It was Harkless' first double-double of the year, but the fifth-year forward has played well in the starting lineup this season for the Blazers. The only blemish on his night were four turnovers, but overall his defense and three-point shooting have been solid so far this season.
Harkless is averaging 12.1 points and 5.6 rebounds over 30.7 minutes per game this season. He owns a career-high .564 effective field goal percentage and he has a nERD of -0.7.
