Lakers' D'Angelo Russell (left knee) to miss 2-3 weeks
Los Angeles Lakers point guard D'Angelo Russell (sore left knee) will miss the next two-to-three weeks after receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection.
The knee injury wasn't thought to be a serious issue, but the Lakers have decided to give Russell a PRP treatment, and he will be re-evaluated in one week. Jose Calderon will get the starting designation, but Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams will be the fantasy beneficiaries. Russell's owners should hold on while he's sidelined.
Russell owns a -0.5 nERD through 13 games this season while averaging 16.1 points, 4.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 2.5 3-pointers per contest. The Lakers are 17th in the league, according to numberFire's NBA Team Power Rankings.
