Nuggets' Gary Harris (foot) looking to get out of walking boot soon
Denver Nuggets shooting guard Gary Harris said he's hopeful he'll soon be able to shed the walking boot on his injured right foot.
It's unknown what exactly is ailing Harris, but he's expected to miss at least another three weeks. Will Barton and Jamal Murray should continue to benefit the most from increased opportunity while Harris is out.
Harris has played only five games this season, averaging 10.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 22.8 minutes per game. He has a .500 effective field goal percentage, but is shooting only 30.8 percent from three-point range.
